Diabetic diet and the 10 most dangerous desequilibriums of north American diet
If you are diabetic or if you are looking for a diabetic diet, you came at the right place. For those seeking solutions on how to cure your body with nutrition, this information is going to be valuable.
When I created rejuvenating nutrition to cure my body, I had to discover the most important imbalances that north American nutrition creates in the body. Those imbalances are the core problem leading people to cancer, overweight and diabetes. Therefore, learning these imbalances will allow you to create a diabetic diet that can help not only prevent further problem, but cure diabetes and other deceases.
We will study each imbalance and learn how it is created from the north American diet. Then, we will learn how to compensate for it over time and with nutrition in the rest of this book. Health is a matter of equilibrium and that’s why we first have to learn the imbalances that exist in our world in order to work on them and be able to restore the balance in our organism. Once the balance is back, the body starts to heal itself.
There are 10 main imbalances so let’s start and don’t forget to like and share this article to your loved ones.
First imbalance: North American diet high in omega-6 fat will be offset by a diet rich in omega-3 and low in omega-6.
To stop making things worse: Avoid oils, margarines and all products made with Omega-6 fats. Anything based on soybean oil, sunflower oil or corn will boost omega-6 fat: chips, pastries, crackers and all commercial food in general.
To restore balance: Consume fat wild fishes twice a week. Consume flax seed oil, canola oil or olive oil. Eat walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds and hemp seeds. Make sure that the only significant sources of fat in our diet are: nuts, cold pressed oils, and wild fish.
Second imbalance: North American diet high in sodium (salt) will be offset by a diet rich in potassium.
To stop making things worse: Do not add salt to your food, avoid canings and check the ingredients of what you buy so that the sodium content is minimal and always lower than the potassium content. Avoid restaurants, fast foods and cheese.
To restore balance: Consume natural foods because the vast majority of foods in their natural forms contain a much higher amount of potassium than sodium. Whole grains, legumes and nuts are three important sources of potassium that can provide you with 200 to 800mg of potassium per serving! Fruits and vegetables are also a good source of potassium and help the kidneys work to the elimination of excess sodium.
Third imbalance: North American diet rich in acidic foods will be offset by a strongly alkaline diet.
To stop making things worse: Avoid marinades and all products containing vinegar: ketchup, bread, mustard, etc. Avoid wheat and oats. Avoid alcohol, avoid sugar, avoid red meat, avoid coffee.
To restore balance: Promote alkaline foods such as rice, millet, teff, fresh nuts, navy beans, green peas, chick peas and calcium-rich foods such as sardines, broccoli and turnips. Drink pure water and herbal teas; take a lot of rest and moderate sunshine.
The next three imbalances are the main things to consider to build a diabetic diet and also explain why diabetes is so present in North America.
Fourth imbalance: North American high-sugar diet will be offset by a diet low in sugar and using low glycemic index foods.
To stop making things worse: cut all forms of fast-release sugars: table sugar, honey, brown sugar, melons, maple syrup, dried fruits.
To restore balance: Adopt a diet richer in protein and good fat from fresh nuts and first cold pressed oils. Favor foods with complex, slowly digestible sugars such as raw vegetables, beans, whole grains and nuts.
Fifth imbalance: North American diet rich in refined carbohydrates will be offset by a diet low in starches and more rich in good fat, dietary fiber and protein.
To stop making things worse: Cut on the white refined rice, avoid all forms of pasta or bread, even those made from whole grains Avoid at all costs what is highly starchy like potatoes and all the pastries.
To restore equilibrium: Fasting is the best option in this case but I do not speak of complete fasting. A subsistence diet consisting of a few fresh various soaked nuts, sprouted rye bread, and a moderate amount of fruits and vegetables is possible. These foods seem the least fouling and does not hinder too much the use of reserves accumulated in the body. Let your body tell you when the time will come to perform this purification. Fasting is an advanced purification technique that must not be abused of and taken lightly.
Sixth imbalance: Superabundant North American diet will be compensated by a diet that requires to tap into the body reserves occasionally.
To stop making things worse: Do not eat when you are not hungry, eat several small meals a day rather than three big meals.
To restore balance: After adopting rejuvenating nutrition, most of the basic imbalances in your body will become less important. Your organs will be healthier and you will be able to begin small fasts. Exercise (walking) and controlled fasting are two of the best ways to get rid of our past excesses. On the other hand, one should avoid practicing intense exercises while fasting because this could totally exhaust the body.
Seventh imbalance: North American diet low in antioxidants will be offset by a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, legumes, nuts and whole grains all rich in various antioxidants.
To stop making things worse: Increase your consumption of fruits and vegetables to a total of eight servings a day
To restore balance: Regularly make cures of fruits or vegetables. These are days when you will be at rest and your diet consist largely of fruits or vegetables. During the summer, I regularly make such cures eating only fresh raspberry, blueberries and/or strawberries. Only during the summer, because during the winter their freshness is not sufficient and the increased acidity of this season would cause important problems of overload. During the rest of the year, try to always get a minimum of six servings of fruits and vegetables a day. You can count legumes (peas, lentils, beans) portion as a portion of vegetable in rejunevating nutrition.
Eighth imbalance: North American diet high in saturated fat and trans fat will be offset by a diet rich in vitamin E from a natural source and rich in monounsaturated and omega-3. beneficial fats.
To stop making things worse: cut all the fat-rich animal products: milk, cheese, butter, cream and fatty meat. Cut all products that contain trans fat: pastry, catering, instant noodle, restaurants, etc.
To restore balance: Consume rye regularly, green peas, fresh nuts, wild fish, brown rice, fruits and vegetables, garlic and favor foods rich in dietary fiber.
Ninth imbalance: North American diet too rich in animal source protein will be offset by a diet rich in antioxidants and vegetable proteins.
To stop making things worse: do not exceed a consumption of 30g of protein from animal sources a day and varied your choices of lean meats. Minimize your consumption of dairy products. This means less than one drink a day and prefer small amounts of products such as yogurt and goat’s milk.
To restore balance: Avoid meat over short period (2 or 3 consecutive days) and favor fish and white meat of poultry. Consume a lot of fruits and vegetables and vegetable source protein. I strongly recommend to stop the consumption of dairy product. Increase your intake of fresh vegetables and cabbage family rich in magnesium and calcium. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes and whole grains will eventually restore balance over the years and eating raw will help eliminate mucus than creating dairy products in your body over the years
Tenth imbalance: North American diet rich in polluted foods and transformed foods will be offset by a diet made from pure foods.
To stop making things worse: Stop eating transformed products.
To restore the balance: Avoid foods produced in plastic greenhouses, hydroponic culture and other non natural environments for plants. Don’t drink water contained in plastic containers. Avoid GMO (Genetically modified organism), eat organic, seek fresh food not intoxicated by its environment, eat only meat from animals that were raised outside in contact with a lot of vegetation. More on that subject in the second book.
These are the 10 most important desequilibriums coming from the North American diet. You can see that there is a lot of work to do in order to solve these and change our perception of food sufficiently enough to attain rejunevating nutrition. If you read carefully, you probably noticed that most problems comes from the fact that our foods has been industrialized and our habits are chronic instead of based on our real needs. Therefore, we eat too much of foods that brings us too little.
Most solutions to these imbalances are the same: use natural foods, come back to the roots of what nature has to offer to nourrish the body. In order to compensate for all these imbalances I developped rejuvenating nutrition. If you apply rejuvenating nutrition, you will restore the balance in your body and trigger the regeneration of your organism, which is the only way to cure a body from its deceases.
Now that we have a glipse of the solution existing to create a diabetic diet or any kind of diet to cure our body, we need to study the tools that nature has made available to us to do so. Learning the plants that are edible and available on the market is the next logical step in a journey to healthy nutrition. This is what we are going to focus on from this point on.
